Document and maintain financial processes for efficient and accurate reporting
Analyze month-over-month changes in financial outcomes and provide clear reporting for leadership
Collaborate with actuarial and reinsurance teams
Work with the Data Office to identify and define controls and data availability requirements
Develop audit-ready documentation for key financial processes and controls
Direct preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements, including quarterly and annual NAIC filings
Perform RBC analysis and use NAIC RBC forecasting tools
Develop an internal control testing framework
Review and document cash handling processes and reconciliation procedures
Collaborate with Insurance and Compliance teams on data and regulatory requests related to state expansion or reporting
Contribute to projects improving financial transparency, data readiness, and compliance
Own the statutory process end to end as a senior individual contributor with no direct reports

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus
8+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance finance or accounting
Preferably exposure to GAAP and statutory reporting
Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and insurance accounting
Proficiency in interpreting financial outcomes and turning data into actionable reporting
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
