Hospice Veterinarian

Job Description:

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in clients' homes
• Practice independently on the road across Severna Park, Arnold, Pasadena, and Glen Burnie, Maryland
• Conduct a few appointments per day at an unhurried pace
• Listen to families, explain end-of-life care, and help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
• Participate in thoughtful onboarding and one-on-one mentorship
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues and access team support as needed

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
• Completion of license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before start date
