Hospice Veterinarian

Job Description:

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in families' homes
• Practice independently on the road while serving Rockville, Silver Spring, and North Bethesda, Maryland
• Conduct a few appointments per day at an unhurried pace
• Sit with families, answer difficult questions, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
• Choose a 2- to 5-day-per-week or self-managed schedule
• Collaborate with and receive support from experienced colleagues
• Participate in onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, training, and professional growth

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
• License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date
