Hospice Veterinarian

Job Description:

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in pets' homes
• Practice independently on the road while supporting families through end-of-life care
• Conduct a few appointments per day at an unrushed pace
• Listen to families, explain care options, and honor each pet's story
• Help families say goodbye with dignity and peace
• Answer difficult questions with kindness
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth
• Serve clients in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and surrounding areas

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
• License verification, background check, and driving record review required before start date
