Hospice Veterinarian

Job Description:

• Provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care in Towson, Lutherville-Timonium, Cockeysville, and surrounding areas
• Practice independently on the road while serving families in their homes
• Conduct a few appointments per day at a care-appropriate pace
• Listen to families, explain end-of-life care, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
• Answer difficult questions with kindness and compassion
• Participate in thoughtful onboarding and one-on-one mentorship
• Choose and self-manage a 2- to 5-day-per-week schedule
• Select four weekend days per month according to personal availability

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
• License verification required before start date
• Background check required before start date
• Driving record review required before start date
