Hospice Veterinarian

Job Description:

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in clients' homes
• Practice independently while traveling between appointments
• Conduct a few appointments per day without double-booking or rushing
• Sit with families, answer difficult questions, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
• Build relationships with grieving families and support them during end-of-life care
• Complete thoughtful onboarding and participate in one-on-one mentorship
• Serve Milwaukee, Racine, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance
• License verification required before start date
• Background check required before start date
• Driving record review required before start date
