Job Description

TiDB is hiring a GTM & Sales Operations Associate (North America) to act as the analytical and operational backbone for the region. The role combines market and GTM analysis with hands-on systems work to produce recommendations, reliable forecasts, clean sales data, automated workflows, and accurate compensation calculations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build an outside-in view of the North America market, competition, and buyers and align that with internal deal data to produce regional recommendations.
  • Own pipeline and forecast analytics and run a trustworthy forecast cadence; interpret data and propose recommended fixes.
  • Develop AI-native systems and automations by wiring LLMs and low-code tools into daily sales workflows to reduce manual work.
  • Manage sales compensation and incentive calculations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain CRM/data foundation and ensure data integrity so people and AI agents can rely on it.
  • Coordinate between North America leadership and global HQ across time zones to align strategy, numbers, and priorities.

Requirements

  • 2โ€“4 years of experience in Sales Ops, RevOps, GTM/Business Strategy, market/competitive research, consulting, or other analytical roles.
  • Strong analytical depth: ability to move from raw data to defensible recommendations, including using outside research when internal samples are small.
  • Native or professional fluency in English and Mandarin preferred to enable clear communication with regional teams and global HQ.
  • Power user of modern LLMs and automation tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini); comfortable using APIs and low-code tools to build internal automations.
  • Familiarity with โ€œvibe codingโ€ practices: prompting, using Claude Code / Cursor, and building internal tools via natural language and low-code approaches.

Compensation & Benefits

  • U.S. base salary range: USD 80,000 to 130,000 (actual pay depends on level, location, experience, and other factors).
  • Eligible to participate in TiDBโ€™s Bonus and Equity Plan and Sales Compensation Plan (if applicable).
