Graphic Design Team Lead

Job Description:

• Oversee the Graphic Design team at ONC
• Delegate tasks to team leads and interns based on their strengths and expertise
• Provide guidance and support to team leads and interns
• Coordinate and prioritize design projects, ensuring deadlines are met
• Provide creative direction and constructive feedback on design concepts
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and ONC’s mission
• Review and approve design work for visual appeal, accuracy, and brand compliance
• Conduct regular design critiques to encourage improvement and consistency
• Communicate with ONC team members through Slack, email, and Zoom
• Coach interns and support their professional development

Requirements:

• Working towards a degree in Visual/Fine Arts or Graphic Design, Visual Communication, and/or related fields
• Responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even during conflict
• Self-starter willing to take initiative and complete tasks
• Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule in order to meet deadlines
• Adobe Suite experience
• Canva experience preferred
• Google Workspace experience preferred
• Ability to attend organization-wide meetings every other week
• Ability to lead weekly Graphic Design Team meetings
• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
