Functional Analyst – FM System Consolidation Analysis

Job Description:

• Analyze financial management requirements, including accounting, payroll, and workforce processes
• Translate requirements into system, data, and architecture needs
• Work with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Explain the business implications of technology choices
• Assess shared services operating models across governance, organizational structures, business processes, technology, and performance management
• Identify opportunities for system consolidation and process improvement
• Consider federal accounting, audit, and compliance requirements
• Contribute functional analysis and recommendations to the consolidation roadmap
• Align business priorities with technology and transformation planning

Requirements:

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Financial management and technology integration expertise
• Ability to translate business requirements into system, data, and architecture solutions
• Federal financial management experience
• Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting practices, and audit and compliance requirements within DoD, Defense agencies, or other federal organizations
• Experience supporting or leading large-scale transformation
• Experience designing, implementing, or optimizing shared services operating models in complex public-sector or large enterprise environments
• Ability to work effectively between functional and technical stakeholders
• Ability to communicate across functional and technical perspectives
