Freelance Mechanical CAD, Simulation Engineer – AI Trainer

Job Description:

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks
• Design part geometry
• Build reference solutions
• Judge AI agent attempts
• Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry built
• Apply mechanical engineering expertise to real-world technology projects

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar)
• Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus
• An active professional CAD licence of your own (required)
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub
• English at B2 level or above
• Tasks estimated at around 10–20 hours per week during active phases; workload is not guaranteed and applies only while the project is active
