Finance Intern – Technical Accounting, Treasury

Job Description:

• Research and document technical accounting conclusions
• Support quarter-end procedures, controls, schedules, and audit documentation
• Update daily cash positioning worksheets and dashboards
• Prepare variance analyses, monitor liquidity, and track daily cash activity
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and transaction inquiries
• Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects and process improvements
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Finance Operations, and other partners

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled at an educational institution (e.g. college, university, bootcamp)
• Must live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
• No work authorization, relocation assistance, sponsorship, or visa transfer provided
• Willingness to take on new challenges and see them through to completion
• Coursework in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is a bonus
• Exposure to US GAAP, financial reporting, or technical accounting research is a bonus
• Interest in treasury, cash management, insurance, or financial risk is a bonus
• Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to learn new systems is a bonus
• Experience creating process documentation or working with dashboards is a bonus
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, including organizing data and using formulas, are a bonus
• Successful applicants must complete a background check
