Field Service Technician

Job Description:

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes shipping and mailing equipment
• Support hardware and software solutions
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce client callbacks
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment during installation
• Represent Pitney Bowes in a 100% client-facing capacity
• Cover a multi-zip-code territory with significant windshield time
• Use hand tools and small power tools for repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Provide service to clients across shipping and mailing technologies, from inserters to lockers

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• Employer will not sponsor employment visa status now or in the future
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more with or without accommodation
• Ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time
• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of time
• Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and networking (preferred)
• Experience with automated equipment (preferred)
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience repairing or troubleshooting hardware and software solutions
• Strong customer service and client-facing capability
