About the Role

DDH1 Drilling, part of the Perenti Group, is looking for experienced Driller's Offsiders for its specialised engineering drilling division in Western Australia. You will support drillers on large diameter, directional, mud rotary and air hammer drilling programs across a range of client sites. The role is FIFO, with flexible rosters and flights available from any major city in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Help operate large diameter, directional, mud rotary and air hammer drilling rigs safely


• Complete daily inspections, housekeeping and preventative maintenance


• Prepare and handle drill rods, tools and equipment


• Assist with rig mobilisation, set-up and pack-down


• Manage drilling fluids and support drilling operations


• Follow company and site safety procedures and work closely with the driller and crew

About You

• Previous experience as a Driller's Offsider in mining or exploration drilling


• Exposure to large diameter, directional, mud rotary or air hammer drilling is highly regarded


• A current HR licence or above


• A current First Aid Certificate and a National Police Clearance


• Physically fit and comfortable in remote FIFO work


• Dogging, front end loader or telehandler tickets are a bonus
