Engagement Manager II

Job Description:

• Own customer success and serve as a trusted advisor helping customers achieve desired outcomes using Akamai solutions
• Research and conduct assessments to identify trends and provide guidance influencing customer architecture and adoption decisions
• Architect and manage web performance, cloud computing, and security solutions
• Define account strategy, establish key relationships, and build and maintain a project pipeline
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team
• Partner with sales and pre-sales to expand use of services and solutions
• Move customers' key initiatives from concept to implementation
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Understanding of the consulting process
• Experience managing and delivering large technical programs successfully
• Knowledge of DevOps, web performance, DNS, TLS, and HTTP
• Knowledge of information security fundamentals, common threats and vulnerabilities, and tools and methods used to protect data, applications, and infrastructure
• Familiarity with compute technologies and architecture principles
• Basic knowledge and skills to design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
