Director, Product – Technology

Job Description:

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for DaVita’s provider-facing digital health applications
• Build electronic health record solutions that streamline clinical workflows, reduce provider burden, and improve patient care
• Create a multi-year product vision and strategic roadmap for the Provider EHR platform
• Align product strategy with clinical, regulatory, and business priorities and secure executive and physician leader buy-in
• Translate clinician and provider needs into a prioritized, actionable roadmap
• Develop detailed specifications for EHR capabilities and integrate them into complex clinical workflows
• Define desired provider behavior changes and evaluate opportunities for value, clinical impact, and return on investment
• Establish OKRs and validate clinical value and technical viability
• Lead collaboration with software developers, UX researchers, clinical informatics, and medical directors using agile methodologies
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers
• Foster ownership, psychological safety, speed, iteration, and user-centricity
• Monitor and analyze product performance and adoption metrics
• Present insights and executive-ready narratives to senior executives
• Evangelize the EHR product vision internally and externally

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an agile environment
• Strong focus on digital healthcare products, EHR/EMR platforms, or clinical workflow solutions
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Proven track record of hiring, inspiring, and growing direct reports
• Deep understanding of provider needs, clinical workflows, and the healthcare regulatory landscape, including interoperability, HIPAA, and meaningful use
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to present to and align VP-level stakeholders, physician leaders, and cross-functional partners
• Demonstrated track record of building and launching digital products
• Demonstrated ability to align teams to a unified strategy
