Duties/Responsibilities

· Install and configure computer hardware, software, network printers, and scanners

· Monitor and maintain computer systems and related equipment

· Respond to service requests and technical issues in a timely manner

· Provide technical support across the company, including remote locations and out-of-state sites, both in person and remotely

· Set up accounts and equipment for new users

· Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment as necessary

· Run and terminate network cabling

· Work with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues

· Test and evaluate new technology solutions

· May be asked to assist other departments during periods of staffing shortages or increased workload

· Participate in on-call support rotation

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

· Minimum 5 years of desktop support experience

· Strong technical and logical troubleshooting skills

· Excellent problem-solving abilities

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed

Education and Experience

· 5 years of help desk or desktop support experience

· 5 years of Windows support experience

Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods of standing and working on equipment

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times

· Ability to perform repetitive movements over extended periods

· Must be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating basis
