Deposits Compliance Analyst

Job Description:

• Assist the Deposits Compliance team in delivering the Compliance Management System (CMS)
• Conduct day-to-day due diligence, monitoring, and review related to the Bank’s fintech partner programs
• Work with the Deposits Compliance team, business lines, and fintech partners to implement controls and processes meeting regulatory requirements
• Maintain knowledge of CMS elements and enhance Lead’s CMS and fintech partners’ systems
• Review business unit and fintech partner policies, procedures, and marketing materials for legal and regulatory adherence
• Recommend changes based on identified risks or regulatory changes
• Monitor partner controls and key risk indicators, research issues, and recommend remediation
• Assist with action plans and corrective actions related to monitoring and review findings
• Build working relationships with department employees, business units, and fintech partners
• Support business units on consumer protection laws and regulations related to debit/prepaid cards, checks, ACH, wires, and instant payments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ banking experience
• Knowledge and experience with Compliance Management Systems (CMS), including policies and procedures, escalation and reporting, complaint handling and trend analysis, exam and audit management
• Understanding of applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including UDAAP, FTC Guidelines, Reg E, Reg CC, Nacha Rules, Visa/Mastercard Rules, and other federal consumer protection legislation and regulations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make judgments with exceptional speed based on information provided
• Ability to work and complete tasks independently with minimal direct supervision
