Data Scientist

Job Description:

• Work on projects including credit scoring models, fraud detection, field visit schedule optimization, and A/B tests for targeted user promotions
• Partner with product managers and business leaders to understand problems and apply data to improve outcomes
• Embed closely with product and operations teams
• Generate insights from customer, merchant, and internal data using statistical modelling, data visualization, and machine learning
• Design, implement, and analyze optimizations for internal operations, user promotions, and the agent network
• Build data-driven heuristics and machine-learning models to improve user and business outcomes
• Own the analytics process from project scoping and design through communicating findings to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning or technical analytics roles
• Deep expertise with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Experience in one or more of: machine learning, causal inference, statistical modeling, or A/B testing
• Fluency in English
• Ability to generate clear, actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and drive progress
• Experience working in early-stage product teams or rapidly scaling products
• Ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Candidates must be based in one of the listed talent hub countries or operating markets
