Data Scientist

Job Description:

• Support the development of data, analytics, and AI solutions for SIOP transformation
• Help deliver measurable business impact on inventory and customer service
• Frame supply chain problems with senior team members and business partners
• Prepare and analyze operational data
• Develop and evaluate machine learning, statistical, forecasting, and time-series models
• Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, feature engineering, validation, and performance evaluation
• Translate analytical findings into insights and recommendations for business stakeholders
• Support AI-powered applications and tools, including Generative AI and Large Language Model solutions
• Contribute to end-to-end data science projects from problem definition and data preparation through modeling, testing, visualization, and deployment
• Develop and maintain analytical datasets and data transformation workflows using Python and SQL
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems
• Develop dashboards, analytical applications, and decision-support tools
• Follow standards for testing, version control, documentation, monitoring, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders
• Contribute to data products including Snowflake tables, forecasting models, inventory analytics, dashboards, and AI-powered tools
• Validate outputs, identify data or model issues, document solutions, and support continuous improvement
• Improve data quality by profiling operational datasets and investigating issues
• Communicate analytical results and support adoption of data-driven tools and recommendations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1+ years of experience in data science, analytics, engineering, or a related quantitative role using SQL and/or Python for data analysis, data preparation, or analytical solution development
• Relevant internships, co-ops, or research experience may be considered
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time
