You do not need to specialize in one specific type of equipment. Experience with chillers is a plus, but it is not required.This is a service-focused position, not a new-construction or installation role. You’ll work across a variety of commercial and light industrial environments, including office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial properties throughout the North Atlanta area.At Blue Mountain Mechanical, technicians aren't treated like numbers. You'll have the support you need to do your job well while working for a company built around integrity, honesty, quality, and trust.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipmentPerform commercial HVAC service and maintenance across a variety of customer facilitiesWork on equipment including rooftop units, VRF systems, chillers, boilers, pumps, hydronic systems, split systems, and other commercial HVAC equipmentIdentify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutionsComplete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanshipCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions, repairs, and service needsComplete service documentation and paperwork accurately and on timeMinimize callbacks by properly diagnosing and completing repairs the first timeParticipate in the rotating on-call scheduleWhat We’re Looking ForCommercial HVAC service experience required5+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferredStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilitiesExperience working with a variety of commercial HVAC equipmentChiller experience is a plus, but not requiredEPA Universal CertificationValid driver's license and driving record acceptable for company vehicle insuranceAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningStrong customer communication skillsDependable, professional, and able to work independently in the fieldAdditional HVAC certifications are a plus, but we're more interested in what you can actually do in the field than the number of certifications on your resume.Pay & Schedule$28–$58 per hour, depending on experience and skill levelStandard schedule is typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through FridayTechnicians typically work approximately 45–60 hours per week, depending on workloadOvertime is paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 8 hours in a dayOn-call rotation is approximately one 7-day rotation every 7–8 weeks, based on current staffingWhat We ProvideFull benefits packageTake-home company service vehicleCompany phone or reimbursement for use of your personal phoneTablet available for technicians who prefer to use one in the fieldOvertime opportunitiesStable commercial service workSupport from a company that values its technicians and wants to see them growService AreaBlue Mountain Mechanical is based in Cumming, Georgia, and primarily serves customers throughout North Atlanta and North Georgia.
