Civil Operator | Karlawinda Near Newman | 2/1 Fifo

About the Role

MACA is hiring experienced Civil Operators and All Round Operators for the Karlawinda Gold Project, about 65 km south-east of Newman in the Pilbara. The work is on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, with direct flights to site so there is no long bus trip. Full-time and casual rates are both available.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate civil and mining plant safely on bulk earthworks and site civil tasks


• Run equipment such as Komatsu 785 trucks, articulated dump trucks, 16M graders, D9T dozers, rollers, water carts and 30 tonne excavators


• Use GPS guidance on dozer and excavator work


• Complete pre-start inspections and report defects and hazards


• Work independently and as part of the crew to hit production targets

About You

• Experience on one or more of the machines listed above


• GPS experience for dozer and excavator roles


• A proactive attitude to safety and the drive to work independently


• Current WA driver licence


• National Police Clearance
