Certified Financial Planner – Part-time

Job Description:

• Provide unbiased, holistic financial guidance directly to employees using the LearnLux digital experience
• Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat, and email
• Advise on the LearnLux methodology and respond to changing financial environments
• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute subject-matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience
• Become an expert on clients’ benefit plans and act as an extension of their team during open enrollment
• Work various shifts from 8 AM–11 PM ET Monday through Friday, with a typical expectation of 5–15 hours per week
• Report to the Director of Financial Planning

Requirements:

• CFP® designation required
• Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently, prioritize work, and take direction from multiple team members
• Ability to take initiative and execute
• Experience in multiple areas of personal finance: retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, student loans, cash flow planning, digital currencies, estate planning, insurance, and more
• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar (preferred)
• Certification in Credit Counseling (preferred)
• Additional certifications (preferred)
• Startup and/or Fintech experience (preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
• Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences virtually or in-person (preferred)
• Availability to work occasional evenings and Saturday (preferred)
• Ability to occasionally travel to on-site events (preferred)
