About the Role

PLS (Pilbara Minerals) is hiring a permanent full-time Auto Electrician for its Pilgangoora lithium operation in the Pilbara, listed near Marble Bar. The role runs on an 8/6 and 7/7 roster covering days and nights, flying in and out from Perth, or drive-in drive-out for people already living in the Pilbara. You will report to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and keep the mobile mining fleet running safely. Applications close 28 October 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Low voltage electrical fault finding, servicing and repairs on heavy mobile mining equipment


• Air conditioning repairs and maintenance across the fleet


• Working to the maintenance schedule and assessing unplanned breakdowns


• Improving equipment reliability and availability for the mining team


• Reporting daily progress to the Mobile Maintenance Workshop Supervisor


• Following site safety standards on every job

About You

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology


• Certificate II in Air Conditioning


• High risk work licences for forklift, EWP and working at heights


• Current driver's licence, LR class or above


• At least two years of post-trade mine site experience on equipment such as CAT, Epiroc or Komatsu


• Able to pass police checks, a medical and drug and alcohol screening

• A $10,000 sign-on payment, paid in two parts after probation and after 12 months (inclusive of super)
