Associate Director – Public Interest

Job Description:

• Manage the public interest channel strategy and implementation for the OTC Naloxone business across geographically aligned states and territories
• Grow Naloxone sales in government, non-profit, and business-to-business accounts
• Engage in advocacy to enhance harm reduction efforts and improve public access to naloxone
• Collaborate with the National Sales Director, Padagis Leadership, and cross-functional teams to establish business plans and expansion strategies
• Develop and manage sales execution and partnerships with government entities, non-profit organizations, and harm reduction organizations
• Identify decision-makers and key opinion leaders within target states
• Oversee preparation, submission, and execution of government Requests for Quotations and contracts
• Develop relationships with government entities and partners to increase Padagis awareness and improve naloxone access
• Assist with sales forecasting and establish performance goals
• Participate in state public health initiatives and collaborate with public health agencies
• Analyze market trends, policy changes, and public health data to inform strategy and influence state policies
• Guide prospective and new accounts through the Padagis Direct ecommerce portal

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a Pharma/OTC sales role within government/public interest
• At least 3 years of experience with contract negotiations
• B2B sales experience
• Strong network across government agencies including public health departments, state procurement offices, SAMHSA, HHS, and NIH
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Demonstrated relationship management ability with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Understanding of public interest influence channels for naloxone
• Background in patient, legislative, or other advocacy discipline preferred
• Frequent travel within assigned region and to Padagis locations
