Application Development Manager

Job Description:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities related to software development and data integrations between various systems
• Manage teams delivering software and data integration products
• Ensure products meet business requirements, delivery schedules, and expected quality standards
• Hire, develop, lead, and train development resources
• Establish and enforce development department tools, techniques, principles, and practices
• Translate business requirements into functional software
• Foster internal partnerships with Business Analysts, IT Infrastructure, Product Management, Software Quality Assurance, and business units
• Support, troubleshoot, and repair software issues in a timely manner
• Provide business, data, application, and technology consulting during pre-feasibility and feasibility discussions
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience leading development efforts in software development or related position
• Experience managing medium and large project/development teams
• Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle, including architecting solutions, designing applications, coding, unit testing, and implementing using a variety of tools and technologies
• Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
• Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
